How do I freeze the screen?

For more information about the difference between the Freeze Screen and the Touch Off functions on the ActivPanel, please read article 1701.

ActivPanel 4.5, 5, 6, i-Series and Elements Series* users should press the FREEZE button on the remote control to freeze the screen. Some models of ActivPanel also have a freeze button on the front or centre console.

*On the ActivPanel Elements Series, only external sources can be frozen, e.g. ActivConnect OPS-G.

ActivPanel 2, 3 and 4 users should press the FRZ button on the remote control to freeze HDMI and VGA inputs. 

ActivPanel 1 users should press the F1 button on the remote control to freeze HDMI inputs. It is not possible to freeze the screen when using a VGA input.
